One of the most beloved actors of the small screen, Shailesh Lodha has finally made his entry on Instagram. The comedy actor joined the social media platform recently and posted a video about his official account. In the video, he stated that he joined Instagram after much reluctance. The actor is widely known for his onscreen character Taarak Mehta from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and has been entertaining the audience for more than a decade now. To let you know, the actor has had several fan pages with a crazy fan following.

After seeing a lot of unofficial pages by his name, he joined the social media platform which goes by the username ‘@iamshaileshlodha’. The actor already has a strong fanbase on Facebook with more than 320K likes on his page. In his video, he said, “I joined social media after being persuaded by my friends to counter the fake accounts which have got thousands of followers.” Furthermore, he even made it official sharing his official Instagram handle with his followers.

It was also observed that ever since he made his account official, a lot of fake pages changed their pages into fanpages. “I never even realized that the fake pages which were run on my name had so many pages. I was surprised to know that one of the unofficial pages on my name had more than 200K followers. I am really fortunate that people have given me so much love in these years and have given me the recognition of Taarak Mehta. It feels blessed”, he added.

Not just a hilarious actor, he is also one of the highest-paid poets and authors with 4 titles to his name. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most viewed and one of India’s longest-running television shows. Produced by Neela Tele Films, the show went on air on 28 July 2008. The reruns of the show began from November 2, 2015, on Sony Pal.
